Week 9 Monday 10th September

Hi Parents, Your child may or may not have told you about our trip to a recording studio this Friday. Room 3 will be performing “The Voice of Reason”. This will be an exciting experience for the children that they might not have again during their schooling. All the Room 3 children will play a role in the song. Some will play an instrument, others will sing in the choir. Steve also sees the educational value in this experience and has allowed Room 3 to have a reliever for the day so I can manage and work with the children at the studio. Groups of children and instruments will be coming and going between 10AM and 2PM to best utilize our studio time. This would normally be an expensive exercise but the money raised from sell the Space Tour DVD will fund our studio time and production of the single. The single will be available for the community at cost price sometime in term 4.

I have arranged some of the parent-help needed but let me know if you would like to help out on Friday. Please see me Tuesday morning, e-mail me or send a note to school with your child.
