Week 8

Hi Parents, You have all been amazing support for the Space Tour evening! Everything is going to plan at this stage. Some of you have offered additional support if it was needed and I have since forgotten who said what! Anja reminded me this morning that a Milo needs milk! That is one item I forgot to add to the grocery list! Is anyone willing to donate a 1 or 2 litre of milk for the night? If you are able please reply to this e-mail so I can make sure we will have enough for the night.

Please keep the auction prizes, lights and other bits and pieces coming in.

Space Tour tickets should be coming home with your child on Friday (if all goes to plan). The ticket is more of a flyer, as they are free! The gold coin donation is paid on the night and the tickets will be punched with a fancy star or moon shape hole-punch, validating it. Which reminds me, does anyone have a fancy star or moon shape hole punch Room 3 can borrow for the night? J Tickets will be available for download off the internet or for sale on the night. The Room 3 blogsite will have a link added sometime over the weekend (again, if all goes to plan) so you can print as many extras as you need, if you want.

As your child may or may not have told you, we currently have two Year 1 teachers college students with us until the end of term. It’s definitely a perfect time of year to have Miss Ester Thomas and Miss Heather Robinson as two extra pairs or hands with all the Space Tour preparation. I can gladly report that they are both awesome with the kids and a pleasure to work with. They will continue to take a range of small groups over most curriculum areas.
